The 'big six' clubs want to end equal revenue sharing. Another potential nail in the coffin....
Up until now at least the TV money has been split fairly between the teams. Now the richest clubs want a bigger slice, and Scudamore is trying to help them get it. One more step toward a league as uncompetitive as Spain or Germany if it happens.

It's a good idea but they won't as the worry is no-one will go to games any more when they can just buy them all.

They should offer all a team's AWAY games as a season package to a subscriber. That way attendance revenues shouldn't be that affected and they can make additional money from selling away game television packages.

Agree with that

Put every game on the telly as a ppv and split the revenue equally between the two teams.

I'm sure Man Utd vs Arsenal will earn more than Brighton vs Huddersfield but at least it is judged on consumer choice.

That would reduce illegal streamers too. All that arse ache when you could just pay a fiver to watch your team at 3pm on a Saturday.

Why would the rest vote for it. They need the other 14 to create a league, without a league, Man U v Arsenal is just a friendly and will generate very little income.

The top 6 clubs have a point though. It's the £39m a year each club gets for overseas TV rights. All the TV channels really only want Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham & Liverpool games....

Bournemouth, WBA, Stoke, Watford, Burnley, Huddersfield, and Brighton are hardly big draws around the world. Mind you they need 14 clubs to agree to a change so don't hold your breath....

This is just their way of getting round the FFP rules.

Seems only fair, No one is paying TV Companies to watch Bournemouth V Huddersfield.

They will get their way eventually, keep chipping away. Probably get it down to about 12. I doubt we will be in it unless Payet comes back, but if we are we will be shipping goals for fun. Probably have to bring Englands No.1 in..oh....

Only thing I can think is we are the ones with the biggest (spoken at least) aspirations to join that group.

Not that we'd back it up with actions, I am sure!

Not sure why would be in favour? We are not a top 10 team or rarely and definitely not this season

Ain't a question of if. It's a case of when.

Personally I would stop supporting West Ham if they joined an elite league, it would be another nail in the coffin.

I would actually be quite happy watching us in the championship playing at proper grounds.

let them try to form their own league of six without promotion and relegation.

how fucking dull would that be.

Re: The 'big six' clubs want to end equal revenue sharing. Another potential nail in the coffin....
Correct. They need 14 clubs to agree.

Let's hope that doesn't happen. Can't for the life of me see why they would, but stranger things have happened and they do tend to get their way in one fashion or another.
